Via Ugo Foscolo 4
Opening Times: Mondays: 15.30-19.00 Tues-Sat: 10.30-19.00 Admission Free.
The exhibition area on the Via Ugo Foscolo, in the heart of Milan, covers an area of 750 square metres and is built on three levels, two of which are devoted to the sale of household linen, while the other is concerned exclusively with the museum. The Cino Zucchi Studio was responsible for the design of this level. A visit includes the chance to observe a manual printing demonstration, testimony to a craft which, although now vanished, was nonetheless a milestone in the evolution of textile technology. The demonstration, which is preceded by the projection of an explanatory video, also offers the public the chance to participate directly in this unique and historic process. Admission is free and at the following times: 10.30-19.00 (Tues-Sat) and 15.30-19.00 (Mon). Guided tours, with a printing demonstration included, are by prior arrangement only. For appointments, telephone: +(0)(2) 02/439221
